1960s Elegant Italian Vintage Cream Parchment and Majolica Cabinet/Buffet
-
Description
A 1960s high quality cabinet whole handmade in rosewood from La Permanente Mobili Cantu, one of the most renowned places in Italy at that time for high-standard furniture making and excellent craftsmanship. This piece preserves the original wooden pegs for assembling and has a very creative and functional design: the four front doors, revealing interior drawers in the center, are preciously covered in ivory cream goatskin and accented with sophisticated multicolored hand-painted Majolica tiles with a music theme. The under frame consists of four drawers, on chic double linked oblique legs with bronze crossing. The rarity of this design is also revealed in its elegant proportions: slender and not too high so that the top surface can be used to display a lighting source or works of art.
