Contemporary Italian Red White Sculpture, Flying Guys in Airplane by Ginestroni

Description
This fun sculpture is in terra cotta, whole hand-painted and fire enameled to enhance the detailed design skillfully handcrafted: A red airplane carrying two passengers, a driver and his happy companion, supported on a free-form metal pole inset in a four-sided base in hand-polished Italian travertino.
This sculpture is a very limited signed edition definitely with humour by the Italian Ginestroni, a seclusive artist who primarily works following his inspiration and on commission. His life-size works have been exhibited in the Chianti Sculpture Park in Italy.
Slight variations in deepness of color and size are intrinsic to the handcrafted work.
