Florence Knoll's name goes hand in hand with all things quintessential midcentury. Seller carries several vintage Florence Knoll three-seat sofas however this earlier version of her design is also a design delight in its own right. Clearly the launching pad of her tri-proportional design, Knoll takes the common sofa of the 1940s and modernizes it elegantly; as expected with her work. This piece is circa 1947 and a fantastic precursor to the rest of her design suite to come in future work. Our workroom restored and upholstered this sofa in a durable Luxe Suede in Ivory, a plush material tough enough to withstand stains, spills, and heavy wear.
