A large silver plate carving trolley or roast beef trolley by Erguis, the domed, hinged lid opening to reveal the water-heated carving plate set with two compartments for gravy, also with an interior shelf for carving knives and other utensils, all set in a frame with two large handles, an oil burner below, a side hinged plate stand and a further utensil tray, raised on four gadrooned scrolling legs with wheels, stamped ‘Erguis, 800’. French, c1920.
