Description
Designer Howard Dilday was an American expatriate, living mostly in Rome. Most of his clients were from the Italian aristocratic society, he decorated Palazzo Odescalchi in Rome for Count Rodolfo "Rudi" Crespi, with several pieces of furniture by John Vesey.
This mid-century modern one-of-a-kind console is an exclusive design by Howard Dilday, manufactured by Smania. The neo-classical inspired design with a grand tour flair combines, in a completely innovative chic manner, the exoticism of rattan / bamboo with the sophistication of black lacquer wood. High quality of construction with corners reinforced in wicker, the rattan protected by a clear lacquer and the top by clear glass for maximum functionality. -
