Description
A Danish rosewood writing desk by Frits Henningsen, Furniture designer and Cabinet Maker (1889-1965). This desk is a classic example of Henningsen's elegant clean lines and use of quality woods with perfect balanced craftsmanship. A rectangular top with with molded edge above three long drawers with cock-beading, raised on square tapered legs. The desk was more often found in mahogany and the rosewood (palisander) version is more scarce.
