Large split grain cedar wood illuminated sculpture. Handcrafted by 20th century artist Paul Foeckler, this one of a kind illuminated sculpture reveals the elemental form and grain in a piece of reclaimed California Incense Cedar. Fascinating details and hidden beauty are revealed from light emitting from the center of the sculpture, flowing out between each individual slice suspended on thin aluminum armatures. The warm light traces the contours of the wood capturing beautiful patterns from all angles. Standing just under five feet tall, the sculpture is lit from both the top and bottom to give its central section a perfectly even distribution of light. Accommodates MR16 LED bulbs, (3000K), includes a 6’ black cloth cord, 2 prong plug, and in-line dimmer, 115V AC. Not UL listed. Made to order. All sales are final.
