Izm was born in 2002 from an ineffable desire to create. We are a furniture design/build studio directed by Shane Pawluk and Jerad Mack. Our aesthetic is one of simplicity. Every line has a function; every detail, a utility. Reinforcing this style is a craftsmanship honed over 17 years of furniture production.
Earning international recognition we have received the following design awards: Canadian Interiors Magazine – Best Of Canada 2009 (Visualizm AV unit), Interior Design Magazine – Best Of Year 2009 (Visualizm AV unit), Western Living Magazine – Designers Of The Year 2010, Interior Design Magazine – Best Of Year 2013 (Mizmo coffee table), Interior Design Magazine – Best Of Year 2020 (Sine Table).
Our products have been chosen to furnish numerous residential and commercial projects around the globe. Among the most notable are commissions from the Canadian government to supply consulates/ambassador’s residences in over 15 countries, large scale corporate projects by Gensler Architects, and high end hotels and restaurants.
