1950s Italian brass and glass sconces attributed to Stilnovo. Executed in painted metal, patinated brass and sculptural opaline glass with custom brass backplates for mounting over a standard American J-box. Ingeniously held in place with 3 decorative and richly patinated brass screws. An elegant and refined lighting design reflecting midcentury Italian aesthetics at their highest level.

Price is for the pair.

Professionally rewired and modified for compatibility with US electrical. Accommodates a single 60w equivalent US candelabra bulb (lower with incandescent). Custom fabricated period style brass backplate added for mounting over a standard American j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Please note only one representative sample appears in the photos. Some scuffs, bends, dings and losses noted only for accuracy. Patina varies. Additional photos available upon request.
