Designer Victoria Magniant and cabinetmaker Thomas Lebecel bring their worlds into dialogue through the KI coffee table.
The three modules that make up this coffee table form a cloverleaf floating in space creating an impression of weightlessness. With flowing geometric shapes and clean lines, each element can be used individually.
The burnt wood used for this piece gives it an aesthetic that is both raw and refined. The traditional Japanese technique of Yakisugi is used to lightly char the surface of the wood, creating an intriguing texture and deep dark color nuances. This finish "fossils" the natural grains of the wood, giving the table an almost mineral appearance.
Symbol of a precious and infinite gesture, this piece of furniture is an invitation to a poetic break in space.
