Biography
After studying at the Fine Arts School in Bourges and the International School of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, Roland Zobel (1945-2006) settled in the Cévennes, in Anduze – a town with a great pottery tradition. His studio, Les Cyclades, was the setting for the creation of his terracottas in the 1970s. His art revealed itself in a mosaic of colours and motifs in a charmingly naive style. -
