Description
A late Victorian mahogany wall bracket for a clock, by Edwards and Roberts, the rectangular shelf set upon three arms which converge at a central boss flanked by a Greek key panel, finely carved with a dentil border, scrolls and lanceolate acanthus leaves on punched ground, the reverse with a paper label stating ‘Edwards & Roberts, Upholstery warehouse, Wardour Street, London’. English, circa 1900.
