Daniel Morales Cuban American Abstract Painting on Canvas, 1970s
Offered for sale is an abstract acrylic on canvas painting by Cuban American artist Daniel Morales c1970s.
This wonderful painting of complex abstractions of figures and faces has tones of radiant greys, black and charcoal to off-white. The work has recently been custom framed in a silver leaf wood frame that compliments the the painting.
The work is reminiscent of the Chicago imagists of artists from the 60s and 70. The composition is a feast for the eyes as it has ever changing imagery no matter how many times one looks at it. It is titled in Spanish "La Tribu De Los Mensajes"
which translates to "the tribe or village of messengers". The painting dates to the 1970s and the artist is now in his 70s. -
