Description
An antique Japanese Meiji era enamel over brass charger plate. The plate is superbly enameled with polychrome patterns, including three fans showing flowers and birds, the background is bright turquoise with lush chrysanthemums and swirls. The rim is adorned with an elegant floral border. The backside of the ware is covered with beautiful aquamarine enamel and adorned with swirls and flowers in gold and navy blue colors. Unmarked.
