Description
Depth: 14.17" || Creator: Silkeborg || A. Johannes Andersen for Silkeborg 1960s Danish design rosewood occasional table with original C FC Silkeborg metal label to the underneath. Beautiful mirrored rosewood. Andersen became a certified cabinet maker in 1922. By the mid-1930s, Danish modern designs popularity had moved beyond Denmark and he began his own workshop. He worked alongside other design houses including C FC Silkeborg in Denmark and Trensum in Sweden. His pieces are highly sort after due to the exceptional quality and design elements in his furniture which has gained him international acclaim throughout his lifetime and which is still accorded to him today.
