Description
Depth: 27" || Creator: Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin || A. W. N. Pugin attributed, A Gothic Revival Oak Davenport with finely executed carved gallery to the top and a sloping writing area opening to reveal storage and pigeon holes to the back, with Quatrefoil and Trefoil carving below. The lower front and sides with fine linenfold carving and carved floral decoration and carved Initials 'MS A'. To the back. The side cupboard door with further linenfold carved detail opens to reveal four graduated full width drawers. The forward feet with further carved floral decoration all stood on inset cup castors.
