Depth: 24" || Creator: John Pollard Seddon || John Pollard Seddon attributed, probably made by C. Seddon in collaboration with Kenton and Co. A well designed architectural Gothic Revival oak upholstered nursing or low chair with ebonized circular decoration throughout and stylized floral details to the front rail and to the tops of the front legs. (See Victorian and Edwardian Furniture and Interiors by Jeremy Cooper page 88 for a sideboard with many identical features to this chair). The buffet in image 2 has sold.
