A set of eight rare Regency 'bamboo' motif dining chairs in carved beech as faux bamboo, retaining much original paint including decorative highlights, and having design details including flared legs and backs, multi-spindled back splats incorporating horizontal and vertical elements, caned seats and stretchers to sides, back and front, the front consisting of bowed stretchers joined with balls. Pleasing color and surface. This set would be a sophisticated addition to a dining room or breakfast nook.
