Description
Mid-Century Modern dining or meeting table manufactured by Forma S.A. in the 1950s in Brazil.
The table has a central base in chromed steel with four supports arranged in a cross.
The wood top, with chamfered edges, has a rectangular shape with slightly trapezoidal ends, bringing visual lightness to the whole.
Forma S.A., founded in São Paulo in the 1950s, was a milestone in modern furniture design in Brazil.
Its founding designers were Carlo Hauner and Ernesto Hauner, together with Martin Eisler.
The surface is in good condition and has no major cracks or damages. The old varnish was removed, and we applied a layer of natural varnish, the same used at the time, preserving the original characteristics. -
