Depth: 18.75" // This Chinese altar table from the early 19th century exemplifies the refined forms of Ming and Qing dynasty furniture. The table has a classic recessed-leg design, featuring a flat, floating-panel top, simple spandrels and inset round legs linked by double stretchers. A multipurpose design, such tables were used throughout the home as domestic altars for ancestor worship or as work tables for painting and viewing calligraphy.
