A charming vintage French landscape painting–elongated to a wide panorama–to appreciate the unspoiled beauty of the Ain countryside (Ain is a department in Eastern France) where a mother, two children, a goat and perhaps the grandmother can be seen walking a dirt path through a clearing in the tree line. Gently rolling hills and pastures are seen toward the background under thin cloudcover. The framed work includes a small plaque dedicated to a Madame Juillet for her work with Children’s Mutual.
