Absolutely beautiful and functional Mid-Century Modern Drop Leaf Bar Cart Console Table circa 1960s. This absolute jewel remains in nearly pristine condition. This drop-leaf bar cabinet/ cart features richly grained walnut, with a fully finished back. The finished back side makes this cart ideal for placement in an open floor plan, making it a great focal point. The walnut top offers multiple expansion possibilities with two side / drop-leaves. Keep the leaves down and conserve valuable space or raise them on hinged extension to function as a serving cart. Each wing of the cart can be easily flipped up to provide an extra 9 5/8″ on each side – up to 62 1/8″ long total. When closed completely, it is reduced to a mere 44 1/2″ side console table, raised over casters allowing the cart to be tucked away if needed. This versatile console table offers plenty of storage options with one spacious drawer. Below is an open shelf next to a one door cabinet. The flexibility of this piece is endless, used as sofa table, hall table, and console table. An exceedingly fine Drop Leaf Bar Cart Console Table, this piece has been very well taken care of over the years.
Condition Report: Original finish, exhibit little signs of wear, overall gorgeous surface condition. Construction is strong and sturdy. Hinged extensions work smoothly.
