A striking Mid-Century Modern executive desk designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast, Denmark, circa 1960s. Crafted in richly grained rosewood, this substantial piece exemplifies Vodder’s refined sense of proportion and functionality. The floating rectangular top features sculptural raised edges, while the case is fitted with two banks of drawers, including three deep drawers to the left and a locking file and storage cabinet to the right, finished with Vodder’s signature recessed pulls. The desk is finished on all sides, allowing it to be placed freely in a room as a centerpiece. Elegant tapering legs and warm rosewood veneers highlight the Danish tradition of craftsmanship.
