Japanese Meiji silver vase, ca 1890. Ovoid with short plain neck. Dense and allover low-relief daisy flowerhead ground. On shoulder butler-finished band with same in gold and colored silver applied to top and bottom band; some in truncated lunette (rising sun?) form. Carved rosewood stand. Marked. Very good condition with nice toning and patina.
