Description
German cast silver figural dog match safe. Imported to England in 1906 by Berthold Muller. A romping pug with outstretched forepaws and curled tail. Plump body and collar indicate a good home. Detachable head. Fully marked including Hanau maker’s stamp (Neresheimer) and English sterling-standard import marks, including Chester assay stamp. Very good condition with nice patina.
