Description
One of a relatively small urban Tehran interwar production, this finely woven niche layout scatter shows a basal central vase erupting in flowers, with lateral trees, rocky outcrops, vineyard frames, animal combats, lovebirds and other chirpers, all on the undyed cream field. Navy spandrels with birds. Navy border with forked arabesques and stained-glass palmettes. Short, crisp pile. Good condition.
