This is a fine pair of Jacobean period Barley Twist Benches.
They were made in France in the mid 18th century..
They're constructed of solid oak and are hand turned.
The benches are put together using wood pegs.
The holes on the underside are an indication as to how many times
they have been reupholstered.
Reupholstery is strongly recommended. -
