Danish Mid-Century Modern, Beechwood, Sahara Shearling, Banana Sofa, Denmark, 1940s
Danish modern banana sofa in the manner of Flemming Lassen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk c. 1940s. This example features a freeform curved shape newly upholstered in genuine Sahara (brown/grey) color sheepskin. The upper sits on four stained beech legs original from the mid-century time period.
