Description
Anthemion carved frame with scrolled arms and circular tapered reeded legs. In the manner of James Wyatt. The underside chalked B1041. Later painted a pale green and creme colour. A pair of side chairs from the same suite illustrated in Mallet's Handbook,1994, an armchair from the suite is illustrated Lanto Synge, Mallett Millennium,1999, pl 161, fig 197.
