A fall walk around Kent Lake inspired Amy to bring the autumn colors of russet, amber and orange into this upstate New York home. These earthy tones, complemented by the warmth and grain of the wood finishes throughout, mirror the surrounding landscape. Organic shapes and custom designed pieces, such as the handcrafted twig fire screen, further blur the lines between indoors and out. Soft, curvy and timeless furniture pieces offset the rectilinear mullions and masculine steel of the great room, while the modernist bedrooms have an air of restrained elegance and simplicity.
