With an ability to craft spaces that exude warmth, bold expression, and attention to detail, Amy’s work reflects her deep appreciation for the natural world. This appreciation is evident in projects where she integrates natural materials and landscapes, creating harmonious and visually captivating environments. Amy’s work has earned numerous accolades, including being named to Architectural Digest’s AD 100 List, Elle Decor’s A-List, and Wallpaper* Magazine’s USA 400 list.
Amy’s professional journey includes co-founding Design Miami, a premier venue for collectible design with the concept being to create a companion design fair alongside the Art Basel Miami Beach art fair. In 2011, her firm, Amy Lau Design, published a monograph. She was honored with an honorary doctorate from the New York School of Interior Design a year later.
Throughout Amy’s career she has upheld a passion for sharing her knowledge of historic materials and emerging luminaries. The gallery features collaborations with artists and artisans, guided by her unique perspective and keen eye for detail, that will be the new heirlooms of today.
