Founder and president Stephen Mitchell is an interior designer, creator of stunning and luxurious residences, and DESIGNLUSH was born from his realization that interior designers and consumers alike were thirsting for an alternative to the ubiquitous mass market offering. He also realized a tremendous amount of untapped potential among furniture designers and craftsmen creating their own work but having no platform for development, distribution and sales of their product. Acting on this opportunity, Stephen decided to create a venue to showcase innovative furniture, lighting and accessories while furthering my own creative design talents.
Currently working with artisans specializing in the areas of wood, metal, glass and textiles, the goal of DESIGNLUSH is to bring visibility of the independent artist to the marketplace while maintaining quality, integrity and customization.
While the focus is on trade professionals in both the residential and commercial markets, DESIGNLUSH also serves the needs of specialty clients seeking unique, quality, custom designed pieces and or interior design.
