Julie Percillier is a French textile artist and "paysagère textile" (textile landscaper) born in 1997. She studied embroidery and textile technology before earning a master's degree in Tapestry and Textile Arts from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. Inspired by her upbringing as the daughter of a landscape gardener, she developed a unique artistic practice that blends traditional and contemporary embroidery techniques with dried and stabilized plants. Her work, which she terms "textile landscaping," creates a dialogue between thread and vegetation, resulting in decorative artworks suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Each piece is unique or custom-made, offering a poetic and sustainable vision of the landscape.
