Leonora Sisto
Mexican
She was born on May 21st 1961, in Mexico City. Graduate in Graphic Design with specialty on Illustration by Universidad Iberoamericana, since she was a child she has ventured into painting with her father Eugenio Sisto, Director founder of the Franz Mayer Museum.
She worked for several years illustrating books for children in Santillana and Trillas editorial house. Participates in various workshops: Oscar Urrutia (Nude drawing and flamenco painting) at the Hellenic Institute and San Carlos Museum respectively in the years 1999 and 2000, with Frances Turner (Portrait Searching for Similarities) 2001 at the Museo del Chopo, 2009 with Gabriela Epstein and currently on graphic archives with Felipe Cortes (monotype).
She decided to dedicate herserlf un full to painting up and until 2011, fully venturing into Abstract Art, has participated in multiple group and individual exhibitions in Mexico City, New York, Las Vegas, US, Buenos Aires Argentina, Florence Italy, Lessedra Bulgaria and Cairo Egypt.
