Fleming's sixth James Bond novel, and the first to be made into a film.
First edition, first impression; 8vo ( 195 x 135 mm); a few very faint spots to half-title, verso, and title-page and last page, otherwise internally near-fine; publisher's black binding without silhouette to upper board (variant A according to Gilbert), silver lettering to spine, with the unclipped first issue pictorial dust-jacket (Fleming's name printed in black on the spine) by Pat Marriott, rubbed and toned at extremities, minor chips to flap-fold extremities, spotting to rear panel, and fore-edge of text block otherwise a very good copy. -
