Description
4 Volumes. John Bunyan, The Works. Bound in 3/4 tan calf and marbled boards with open-tooled borders. The spines display raised bands, label lettering, bordering, and floral panel details, all gilt-tooled with red and green morocco labels. All of the edges are marbled with marbled endpapers. Edited with original introductions, notes, and a memoir of the author by Henry Stebbing. Illustrated with engravings on steel and wood. Published by Virtue, Yorston & Co. in New York, 1866.
