The spines display raised bands, panel bordering, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled. All of the edges are gilded with floral gilt-tooled turn-ins, and florally embroidered silk as well as marbled endpapers. Illustrated throughout. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York, 1901. Housed in a marbled slipcase.
