Limited edition, number 161 of 401 copies, signed by six authors and artists; folio (340 x 250 mm); 25 profile portraits of R.A.F. pilots in silhouette, signed in pencil by each of the 25 Battle of Britain fighter pilots, with photographs and biographies of each, all edges gilt, publisher's blue goatskin (by Hartnoll Bookbinders of Bodmin), upper cover with mounted embroidered RAF insignia, lettered in gold to upper cover and spine, preserved in original silk-lined solander box, with prospectus loosely inserted in a integral sleeve, all in find condition; with publisher's original deliver box, completely intact. -
