Rowlandson's superb record of the street traders of London now long disappeared: the night-watchman, the raree-showman, the sellers of poodles, bandboxes, saloop, and other commodities, etc.

First edition; 12mo; title with slip 'Fifty-Four Engravings' pasted over, fifty-four hand-coloured etched plates by and after Rowlandson, a little browned and soiled, a few spots or stains, modern cloth-backed marbled boards, morocco lettering piece, a very good copy.
