Edited by Israel Gollancz.
Stock Code 111893
London, Dent, 1897-1898.
Current price$2,577.00
First published in 1895, the Temple Shakespeare is sought after for its elegant design and convenient format. Sets well-preserved in the original furniture are particularly desirable.
40 vols, 16mo, portrait and frontispieces, title-pages printed in red and black, original burgundy fine-grained morocco gilt, top edge gilt, original bevelled glass-fronted oak bookcase, lacks lock, light spotting to end-papers, a very good set.
Jaggard, Shakespeare, p. 553. -
