Description
The heavy copper body decorated in brass wires with an equally spaced design of two branches of plum flowers and leaves. The upper neck is decorated with a panel of abstract clouds, blue, black and red enamels. The use of a large number of wires on the ground is characteristic of techniques employed by early nineteen century Japanese cloisonné makers, who also closely copied Chemise models.
