Description
A Stunning Antique Rare Early 20th Sterling Silver & Shell folding picture frame, by Maker Grey & Co, date Chester 1910.
This is a rare superb double almost sculptural picture photo frame. On opening it reveals in the upright position, an oval frame below is a round example. Each frame has a silver collar which locks into position allowing easy access when the frame is in the open position.
It stands perfectly for display also due to a perfect counter balance the silver spring loaded clasp works well, the shell itself has that natural translucent quality.
A wonderful gift idea.
