American, probably New England or New York.
Ca. 1875-1890.
Copper, copper tubing.
Condition: Excellent condition, original verdigris surface, minor re-soldering at seams.
This exceptional architectural element probably adorned the roof or cupola of a great Victorian building or house in the late 19th c. The design and form with scroll-motifs is further complimented by the exceptional verdigris surface. -
