Shaped from solid limestone, this impressive garden pedestal is carved on all sides with a low relief pattern of swirling clouds. The whorl of soft spirals and gentle curves drifts across the column sides with tranquil motion, like plumes of smoldering incense or the celestial dais of a Buddhist or Taoist deity. A harbinger of rain and abundance, clouds are an ancient decorative motif in Chinese art and a visual pun for compassion and good fortune. // Depth: 13.0"
