We present this fantastic large antique vase made of majolica in the 19th century. The vase is characterized by a refined enamel decoration in shades of blue. The attention is certainly captured by the two lions that decorate the handle on the sides.
Each side of the vase is decorated with pomp but you will certainly be captured by the two decorative scenes in the belly. On one side we see a countryside scene with two farmers and a goat. On the other side a lake with some sailing boats.
The vase has a mark on the base that could be traced back to the manufacture of Drie Klokken (1670-1841), a historic Dutch factory of artistic ceramics whose mark was characterized by three bells.
This large and elegant vase would be an ideal addition to stand out on an entryway table, in the living room or dining room. It would become a focal point in the room admired by all your guests. - More Information
