Description
A metal weather vane created in 19th century Scandinavia. Resembling a spear-like pillar punctuated by a pumpkin shaped accent and an equestrian pendant, this Scandinavian totem formerly served as a functional architectural accent, pointing the direction of the wind. Most noticeable on this unique piece is the likeness of a mid-trot horse sculpted in metal underneath the letter “A” on a trompe l'oeil fluttering flag.
