Amazing looking, absolute rare 20th century glass vase by famous German glass artist Erwin Eisch (1927 - 2022) made in 1982. The name of Erwin Eisch is inextricably linked with the international studio glass movement that liberated the material glass from its purely practical function and made it into a material for artistic expression. In 2002 he even received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Urban Glass, in Brooklyn, New York. This stunning unique piece of glass art impresses with its unusual form and gorgeous iridescent surface in the style of Lötz Witwe. Shimmering in mesmerizing colors from yellow, gold to orange as well as different purple and blue tones, depending on the incidence of light and building different patterns, this large one of a kind Eisch vase is an absolute eye catcher which we have never seen before. A really decorative, modern 20th century glass vase coming in flawless original condition. Signed by the artist on the bottom.
