Remarkable, completely restored 19th century Biedermeier chest of drawers from the famous period around 1825 in Austria. This perfect sized, early Biedermeier commode has been veneered in fine nut wood showing a gorgeous grain. A great highlight on this straight designed early Biedermeier chest of drawers is definitely the top drawer with its cambered profile confering this 19th century chest of drawers an outstanding look. Beside the great set nutwood veneer which is running down from top to the bottom like a waterfall, as well as the lovely ebonized pilasters, artfully crafted brass fittings in the shape of flowers complete the exceptional look of this one of a kind masterpiece of early Biedermeier craftmanship. All drawers run smooth and can be locked with the still original locks. A highly decorative, hand-polished early 19th century chest of drawers - not only a real eye-catcher but also a very practicable storage piece, coming to you in perfect restored condition.
