    This Japanese censer incense burner, inspired by Chinese pieces, is of spheroidal form, the bronze body with polychrome champlevé enamel work flanked by dragon-head handles and ring pulls. The lid with a decorative polychrome champlevé enameled band and lion handle. The three sculpted feet rest on an intricately carved huanghuali-wood base with a foliate motif.
