    A Magnificent Chinese Ceremonial Poles/Halberds stand, China circa 1850.
    Complete with the original eight Chinese ceremonial poles/halberds, still standing on their original beautiful carved hardwood stand.
The finely carved hardwood stand carved with dragons standing on dogs of Foo.
The two dragons are connected with bended hardwood simulated bamboo.
Overall in fantastic condition, no missing pieces or other damages and still with the original old patination, also the bronze ornaments on top.
The poles/halberds have their original finely carved hard wood handles and on top of that the heavy cast solid bronze mounts.
With as we believe the eight symbols of the Daoist Emblems.
Important is that the Chinese always have eight symbols and you can find them in this rack.

Interesting to see is that one of the symbolic bronze ornaments have a small longevity symbol. (see detail photo)

The wooden stand is wide from dragon to dragon: 188 cm
On the base, the dogs of Foo: wide: 135 cm
The depth of the Dogs of Foo is: 62 cm
On top the bronze handles are wide from left to right 206 cm
